Venetian Angels

                                                                      Venetian Angles
Hello Happy Friday! Today I'm showing you my process of this 12x12 Canvas Using the new Frank Garcia Venetian Shutters !

I started with Tracing the outline of my shutters

After I new where I wanted them I attached some Moss with matte medium and started attaching my Mat mini brick wall effect. when those were in place I took Finnabair white crackle and slathered the whole canvas.

Here it is with everything in place and the crackle dry.

Next step was using the New Metal Rust Effect Paste by Finnabair to my mini bricks. I started with brown, green then the orange.

Here I'm gonna show you my useless process cause I covered it all up and started over LOL, But some of it still kind of shines through and gives a good grunge look.
I used Stamperia - Mixed Media Aqua Color Spray in Grafite and let it soak into the cracks.

I used some paints to color the background but didnt like the shine with the brick

Up Close look

Here I attach the Prima Marketing Frank Garcia Venetian Shutters On top of Stamperia rice paper.

The Rice paper I used TIm Holtz Crazing Medium to give an aged crackle.

Here I aged my Stamperia angels with Tim Holtz Alcohol ink, "Mushroom"

okay So I just used some green Spray and sprayed the backround green, I added Flowers from 49 and Market, Floral Mixology Emerald Isle and Cosmopolitan,I used White sand paste, and Mini Prills in Spruce Willis and Coral See. I used White Gesso to Dry brush the brick and flowers and Bam! done!

Thanks For Looking!

Altered gumball machine

Dear crafting friends.
At last I found a gumball machine, and the first I thought about when I saw it was: I must make it RUSTY!

This is the finished gum ball machine. I just love Finnabairs rust pastes.

This is how the little sweet machine look like when I bought it.

I started with coloring the blue parts with Finnabairs heavy black gesso

After I colored it black I covered it with Patina Effect Paste Brass. And the brown rust effect paste  I like how it makes the surface look so dirty and ruff.

I added some red rust effect paste

Last I took the patina effect paste brass and made all ruff edges a bit shimmering.

I colored some sunbeams direct on the transparent part with the patina effect paste brass. I cut out this sun and swirled some of the sunbeams a little bit in the edges before I glued it.

I added some pearls from my stash at the sun and around the knob on top and colored them as the rest of the gum ball machine.

Thanks for watching!
Hugs Milo <3

Embroidery Hoop Dream Catcher

Happy Friday Everyone!!!! Today I'm showing you how I altered a broken Embroidery Hoop into  a Dream Catcher Using Prima Finnabairs new Camouflage Rust Effect Pastes!

The hoop itself was missing the middle wooden hoop, I went ahead and covered it in Black Gesso.

Next I grabbed some lacey tutu fabric, whats the name of this stuff? I have tons of it laying around here still from when my daughter was little, we made tutus in ever color and length! she just adored them! I cut a good size and tied it tightly around the hoop with a cute little bow! next I tied string all around the hoop for some texture!

Here I start adding my elements! I used resin peices from the stamperia Texture Wood and Bricks Mould, and prima trinkets I also addes sisal and some things from my stash.

I Took some soft matte Gel and added finnabairs mega art Stones and Regular Art Stones in all the  empty space.

Next I covered everything in black gesso, after It was dry I started Layering my pastes

That cute little dragonfly is from Stamperia!  It comes in the Alchemy mould. Its a heart with the dragonfly on top. Instead of filling the mould all the way up with resin I just filled in the dragonfly! I'll add the link for the mould below with the rest of the product list. I used Finnabairs Rust paste on the feathers and dragonfly.

I added some flowers and a quote and called her done!

I hope you all have a fabulous friday! XoXo

Stamperia Rice paper Canvas!

Today I'll show you my Canvas process using Stamperia Rice paper!

I First started off with where I wanted the dress form to fit on my canvas, Since I wanted it to be a main focal point I positioned my paper down to the left using Gel meduim. Then add a layer of clear Gesso.

Next I use White Crackle paste and gesso to blend the paper into the canvas.

After I heat set it, making sure its completely dry I add acrylic paints, the right side of the canvas looks bare, So I stamp some clocks and random stamps all over the canvas to make it all look like one who piece,

I then add Clear crackle from finnabair and I take some gel medium and add finnabair mica powder to it to get this nice metallic color, I use a "Time" stencil from Stamperia and add the gel medium I created.

This is a resin Clock I made using a Stameria mould, I painted it a soft teal, then added Fractured Ice Embossing Powder by emerald creek.

Next I start laying out my embellishments, I used gears and 49 & Market Flowers along with sisal and more embossing on the chipboard. I took finnabair Rust paste and watered it down and added it on and around everything to give that "old" look.

Here is the top corner of me doing the same thing and added some nuvo crystal drops as well.

Lastly LOL I outlined the dress form with a black watercolor pencil, and blended it out with water, I did this quite a few times to get a good intence look. I then added Stamperias Glas paste just inside her blue bow. the looks so cool. more so in person I promise!

Of course nothings finished until I splash it with white gesso! added som of finnabairs watered down rust paste as well for some good splashes. also darkened the edges with an ink pad.

AAAAAAANNNNNDDDD thats all Folks! I really hope you enjoyed my canvas this week!
