I found this Spoon at a flea market some time ago, I have been saving it for a while just waiting for the right project!
I started off with a clear coat of gesso, (I did this because at this point I wasnt sure what I actually wanted to do color wise)
I used thin cardboard and a Studio Light (Industrial 3.0) cutting die. I covered it in black gesso.
Here I have attached it using gel medium
Using the new Prima moulds I poured the 10 min resin.
I have attached those also with gel medium
I have mixed art pebbles with gel and globbed those on there too!
when everything is dry, It all gets black gesso.
now to add color, I used peacock wax from finnabair to cover the whole thing.
then I added firebird wax on just the tops for good dimension.
I then glued on a couple Mit Form Castings and called her done!
